Walsenburg, Colorado
It has now been more than
25 years since I started breeding and Ron has been on board 15 years. We
are only selling these select horses due to the fact that we are getting
older and need to reduce the herd and work load.
#1
Natural Heading Nodding Walk
#2 The Great Disposition
Many have been sold off,
however they have some for sale from the old line natural walking
breeding that they have tried to keep going in this area. Last year a
woman came from Northern Colorado and brought a knowledgeable friend of
the TWH Breed. The woman looking for one horse for herself ended
up purchasing 2 as they were so loveable and walkable. The friend
couldn't believe the horses' great gaits (a yearling and a 2 year old)
and he purchased two more for himself.
Check out the Bloodlines on these few that
they are offering for sale. They realize that you can't ride the
"papers" but when you purchase one of their horses you will have a
genuine head nodding Tennessee Walker with a great disposition. They
are all wormed & vaccinated on a regular basis. All have Great Hooves and stand for the farrier.
The horses that have been in training can be mounted from both sides,
stand to be mounted, and understand "Whoa."
All the horses at B & W Ranch have been DNA varified.
Grace Larson is the Agent for these
listings & all inquiries should be directed to her. Contact
information can be found at each listing. Joan & Ron will discuss
transporting for you out of state.

Eclipses' Town Pride:
Last time I wrote it was quick I know but I did tell you Frank doesn't
mind his fly mask at all. Well, now he also doesn't mind his fly
sheet. We continue to work with halters & lead lines even right up to
next to the road with cars whizzing by. He's Great. We have been
practicing loading & unloading in both a step up & ramp style
trailers; doing great (except a molasses cookie), and towels are great
to play tug of war with. Today I put a saddle on him. He never
flinched. And after I took it off and offered to let him smell it
again, he wasn't interested any more cause he had been there done
that. he is a wonderful colt and exactly what you said he was. I
couldn't be happier with him or you. I thank you again for your
honesty, integrity and knowledgeable breeding practices.

Note from Grace:
The buyer rode
Blackie and was amazed at her very smooth awesome gait. She asked the
man who accompanied her to try her out. He did and bought Merry
Midnight. Another convert to the Tennessee Walker because of the
smooth, well gaited horses Joan and Ron raise.
