El Khalla Blue Celtic is very calm and very social. She approaches people with ease, whether in stall or field, for attention. She loves to be petted and played with. Khalla has lots of Action and Eye Catching Presence.

Khalla's sire, Valhalla Rising, is a son of the 17 hand Celtic (Roi des Blues). Valhall is not "line bred" which shows in his wonderful disposition. He is black and has no auburn. His dam is a daughter of Nero. Famed Olympic Dressage Rider, Hilda Gurney, said, "Nero is one of the nicest moving Friesians I have seen." She also noted his very nice temperament. Valhalla's dam's dam is Tainted Virtue ASHA# 101835 by Courageous Kalu and out of the mare, Swinging Miss.

Khalla's dam's sire is SW El Padrato by El Paso who has quite a unique history.He was described as "the horse that money couldn't buy. "El Paso was exported to the US from Poland in 1975 on a lease. In 1976 he became the US National Champion Stallion at Scottsdale. He was Raced in Poland. Khalla's grand dam, Rabask Hug, is the epitome in beauty, disposition, and very correct conformation. She's been used extensively in the NPS and VIP programs patrolling bridle trails in varied terrain. She has no problem keeping up no matter how fast the pace or how rough the terrain. Rabask Hug lives up to her polish Arabian performance/ endurance genes. Polish Arabs are bred for Substance and their ability to retain type and refinement. Khalla's Potential: Dressage, Endurance, Jumping, English, Fine Harness, Pleasure Driving, Parades, and Trail Riding. She has the bloodlines for a terrific brood mare too.

Her sire is now DNA'd. One of the first Sport Horse Friesian sires to be DNA'd.
