Spirit in 2006. She is offered for sale Open.
Shadow and Champagne Lady's dam, One In A Million Milly,
won many points in Versatility.
Go Boy's Pride' N Shadow was ridden
quite a bit as a 3 and 4 year old, then has been used primarly as a broodmare,
as the foals she produces are exceptional.
Shadow is an easy to breed mare with exceptionally good bloodlines;
she is gentle and very easy to handle. She goes to Merry Go Boy twice,
Midnight Sun 3 times, and to Merry Boy.
Joan added that Shadow
has been bred for disposition and gait.
In the spring of 2006, A trainer came over to do "spring training" , He got on Shadow and
it was like she was ridden yesterday, she went along so smoothly, she didnt miss
a beat.
She is a great
mare for an intermediate rider. After being ridden a few times a
beginner would be fine. She just needs some time with someone in the
saddle - not a bad habit, have never seen her kick or bite, loads
well, bathes, great for farrier, doesn't shy. Out on trails this
past Spring we came upon a herd of Big Horn Sheep and she just
stopped and looked.
