Nelson has had 60 days professional training but needs an experienced
rider or a refresher course. he is very gentle. He leads, loads, and
stands for the farrier. He crosses water, ditches, and logs. He's
been ridden out on mountain trails. Nelson is used to cattle, cars,
and dogs. Nelson's gait is very smooth.
Nelson's grandsire, Southern Sunrise, is one of the Most Celebrated
stallions of the MFT breed. He had sired more champion foxtrotters by
age 12 than any horse in foxtrotter history. Close to 240 of his
offspring are in the MFT Breeders' Cup Winners Circle.
