Gremlin as he is called, was born around 9:30pm, after almost two weeks of me watching day and night the one night I decide to go to Bingo she foals...a gorgeous colt, when I got home he was still very wet, and not yet tried out his new legs, we moved him into the barn, where we spent alot of time with him, he has had his beautiful coat on for the first week of his outside life.
Gremlin is a very friendly colt, soon as he sees his two legged friends he leaves moms side and comes for his neck scratches, he loves a good butt scratch as well, he has never offered to kick, not even when he got his first butt scratch
Though Gremlins mom is a palomino we beleive she did not pass to him her cream gene
When Gremlin is ready for his new home the end of June, he will have learned how to lead, stand tied, give his feet and park, just in case his new owner would like to try their hand at showing
Gremlin, was bred to walk, from his sires foundation lines to his mothers more modern, this combination in lineage has proved itself in the big oval several times, Gremlin is no exception, he would also excel in the show ring.
Because of the disposition that Gremlin has shown thus far Lisa feels he may also be suitable as a youth, 4-h project and if gelded a great youth mount eventually.
